LOOK DEVELOPMENT
Karen deJong began her career in live action visual effects and worked as a matte painter on Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King and Speed among others. She spent 10 years at Walt Disney Animation Studios in a variety of roles and was assistant art director on Meet the Robinsons. She went on to be production designer on Gnomeo & Juliet and Sherlock Gnomes. She has worked as an art director and visual development artist at Sony Pictures Animation, Paramount Animation, Digital Domain FL, Rocket Pictures, Atomic Cartoons, Mandoo Pictures and Henson Studios.
